I've been looking a lot into Android phones and Portable media players.. Out of the phones, I'll probably end up going with either the HTC EVO 4G or the Droid X.. But Media devices.. That's a whole different story..

In all honesty I probably would have just gotten an Android phone without a contract, or any service for that matter, but it looks like that's not happening. I really don't feel like paying hundreds extra.

Now, I've seen the Samsung Galaxy Player, which isn't terrible, but just isn't enough.

I've seen the Archos Internet Tablet 43, and it has AMAZING specs, but one huge turnoff — No Multitouch. An HD capable 5MP Camera, Android 2.2, a 1 GHz processor, a 4.3 inch screen, built in speaker and microphone and much more.. But no multitouch !!

So, I'm tied back over here; Anyone know of any other good Android PMP's [ that are gaming capable as well, just thought I'd throw that in there ] that I can take a look at ?

There's no. Your really better off with an iPod touch for gaming.

Figured.. I'm still getting a 4th gen iPod touch, but instead I'll look out for a Gingerbread Device..

    I didn't mean app, I meant device.

There is no good Android PMP. You're better off getting the iPod touch.

If you really want an Android PMP, than look at Archos brand.
The problem is that it doesn't have the official Google approval and that means no Android Market. So you are stuck with Archos disappointing market.

If you have no Google market, then what's the point of using Android?

Well there is ways of getting the market installed on there, but I can't really say that on here cause it is like piracy or viewed like it.

Also for developers they probably don't care for Market and like cheap devices. Like the Archos 28 when it comes out will be under 100 USD.
