bell with line through it on status bar

    there is a bell with a line through it beside my battery on my status bar and i can't get rid of it can someone please help as it is annoying me.
    i can't remember when it appeared and it does'nt seem to be linked to the alarm as i have none set.

    try to look in Clock app>> Alarm.. it should be anywhere there.. try to disable any alarms or something like that.

    i've tried that but i don't have any alarms set so there are none to remove, i have notifier installed so might try removing that and see if it makes any difference

    ok that sorted it, removing notifier but now i dont have the envelope when i have new mail and i liked it

    Are u actually being serious? That means your phone is on silent, just turn it off silent to get rid of it

    You probably have status notifier installed for winterboard.
    With you not having an iphone, this will of messed it up slightly....

    LOL btw I thought you're talking about the iPod touch not the iPhone. I know nothing about iPhones.

    Yes, but he has an iPod touch, not an iPhone. That was what I thought as well, but having a look at his device, it's confusing me.

    sorry shouldve said it was a touch and said in third post id sorted it by removing notifier, i forgot i had it installed as im using catagories, so this can be closed now thanks.
