I just wanna make sure that it's possible to jailbreak an Ipod Touch 2G Version: 2.2.1 Model: MB528KN
It's brand new, so I just just wanna be sure that it's possible to fix it, if anything goes wrong.

Use CyW00d's Gui or Quicktether. Yes it's possible to jailbreak and it's possible to fix if ANYTHING should go wrong.

    I used redTool .95 and redTool .98 on my 2g Touch 8GB and 2g Touch 32GB respectively.

    No issues at all.

Did you do the full out tether jailbreak or the semi tethered jailbreak?

You can install anything you want; it doesn't have to be in any specific order

no need to tell us your model #
but yes there is a jailbreak i used the tetherd cywood jailbreak it worked fine
and if anything goes wrong you cant always restore in itunes and i have the ispw file in my sign the only thing with this jailbreak is that you have to boot with a comp but that only takes like 2 minutes.

you look like your new to jailbreaking, correct?
i highly recommend not to jailbreak your 2G, it is quite complex to do. if i were you, i would wait a little longer until the Dev Team and Chronic Dev come up with an untethered jailbreak.

Its all up to you, i just recommend not doing it.
