Ipod Touch has wifi accessibility...what happens when I go somewhere and all wifi signals are WEP protected? I'm assuming I will not get internet access. Can I purchase a data package in order for me to have internet access at all times?

Thank you in advance for advise.

i dont think so,most people are getting smarter about securing their wifi so you could get wifi at home or you can be the cool on the town guy hitting all those free wifi coffee shops and taco bells...

I put WiFinder "web app" on my Touch 2G to provide me with a "map" of WiFI in this town, a small town. WiFI is practically everywhere.

If your area doesn't have "open" WiFI, you could tell people.

Maybe talking about it would help.

I understand (please correct this, if not so) if set to "dynamically assign IP addresses" to each piece of hardware "online" (other computers), the other computers are not a noticeable drag. Maybe not for a "dial-up".
