Ive been out of the iTouch scene for a while now (since before 2.). The latest version I had was 1.1.4 and I had it jailbroken.

    Here are my questions:

    1) What do I need to do the most recent jailbreak? Is there a guide somewhere?

    2) Is it possible to get the 2.0 Apple apps without payiong once I get 2.x jailbroken?

    3) Has anything else changed from 4 months back?

    I really appreciate the help!

    1. Search Quickpwn Gui on google and learn about that. oh and go to 2.2., thats the latest firmware.

    2. yes, but im not allowed to tell you about that, use google for this 1.

    3. no jailbrake yet for the 2g, and the dev team is not even thinking about it

    For the latest just:

Buy and download firmware 2.2 ($9.95)
    Download QuickPwn 2.2 for jailbreak
Here's a list of the new Changes/Features in the latest firmwares.

Heh, the same exact thing happened to me.
I first wondered why the hell Cydia was an premade option, and went straight into Installer.

Depends, if you want apps and other features, then there isn't another solution.
