Is there a certain setting on Beejive that i can turn on that will allow me to be signed on 24/7 like IM+ where you have the option of keeping you signed on for 3 days?

You need to install Backgrounder from Cydia, then go into that app and enable BeejiveIM.

Backgrounder signs you off when you put your ipod to sleep.

Get the KeepAwake SBSettings toggle from Cydia.

And i don't think your iPod will last a day with BeejiveIM running in the background.

True, so do you know any good aim chat clients that keep you signed on even on exit, besides the regular aim and IM+ i already have those.

beejive, keeps you 24 hours, and it begins the countdown everytime you open it, so you can be 24/7 just by opening it once a day

Right but is there anything you need to configure first? Because i know when i purchased it, in the description it said "stay signed in 24/7" but that's not what happens with mine(ipod touch not iphone), for me it just signs me off right away.

    Where?

Go into the regular Settings for your iPod,
There should be a BeeJive Setting there..
and there should be something that tells you how long you wanna stay on..
