Ok, so I own a pair of the DJ style beats by dre (the 300$ ones) and whenever i lay down on the right earpad and lift my head up it makes a high pitched screeching noise.. does this happen to anyone else who owns the headphones?

Have you tried taking out the batteries? Or does it only work with the thing on?

How are the beats? I never realized they were $300...are the towards the upper end of the spectrum (quality-wise) for the price range?

Yeah, I'd hope they would be for the price. I associate them with Skullcandy for some reason...they definitely look really sexy though.

I tried them out at Best Buy, and they're great headphones.

Thanks riley. I don't know where that connection came from, but it was there and now it's gone. Glad to hear they don't suck, but I'll be sticking to my orgasmatrons (credit for that word, which is one of my new favs, to my good buddy Big Saucy) known as the ESW10's.
