    What is BeatRider Touch?
BeatRider Touch is much like Tap Tap Revenge and Dance Dance Revolution but it has one feature that makes it unique amongst both of those games. It's a feature that many people have been craving for in the Tap Tap Revenge series. It is the ability to play with your own music!

    Features
BeatRider Touch features six levels of difficulty for each and every song available, ranging from Very Easy to Crazy. The game allows you to change the speed in which the notes come down, which allows beginners to practice and experts to play at the hardest possible level. There is also global highscores rankings, allowing players to see who is the best and to become the best. Another type of ranking is the country ranking, which takes all the people in a country and averages all the scores, giving the highscore of the country. The ranking system encourages players to become the best to gain the top spot in the ranks and even make their country number one! Above all, the highly anticipated feature to allow players to play with their own music makes this game stand out.

    Interface
When you start the game, you are presented with five songs. The first one is already installed and ready to be played while the other four needs to be downloaded. At the top there are two buttons, Free Music and My Music. Common sense tells you that Free Music are the five songs that come with the game while My Music is going to be where your own music is going to live. Looking below the songs is where you can select the difficulty of the songs. The options are, Very Easy, Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard and Crazy. Below this is a bar with four buttons which include Play, Ranking, Option and Help.

Play is the starting screen with all your songs. Ranking shows you the top 30 players in the global highscores which tells you the player's name, song, difficulty, duration of song, rank and score. The country ranking also shows you the top 30. In Option, you get the ability to change the music volume and key volume. You can also change the speed of the notes to anything from 1x to 5x and also get the choice to create an account to upload your own music. There is also the option of enabling Auto Register Score which automatically registers your score after every song you play. Last but not least is Help. Here it just introduces you to the game and tells you how to play, the advantages, the main menu and the note descriptions.

    Gameplay
The gameplay is an awful lot like Tap Tap Revenge and Dance Dance Revolution. There are three types of notes, standard note, long note and slide note. The standard note is just a single note where you have to just tap the key. The long note is a note where you have to hold down on the key until the end. The last note is the slide note where you have drag to the connected note. At first, the notes seem to be coming down pretty fast but you get used to it later. The music available already has some nice beats but with the ability to play with your own songs, the game keeps you tapping for hours. Also, the fact that when you press a key and it makes a musical sound, the game gives you a feeling that you are actually a part of a band and are playing the with them. With the addition of the ranking system, the game keeps you playing for hours trying to beat the highscores.

Although the game may seem perfect from the above, there are a few flaws. Many people have been reporting that they have uploaded a few songs to their account but only one has appeared. There is also a bug where if you enable Auto Register Score, sometimes it won't register your score.

    Controls
The controls in BeatRider Touch ain't that great. The keys are all squished tightly together making you accidentally press they wrong keys sometimes. Other than that, the game makes good use of the touch screen with the slide notes. You can also pause the game and go to the options menu by tapping on the top half of the screen.

    Visuals
The visuals in BeatRider Touch isn't too good. The menus are not nicely designed. It's really simple and needs a bit more color. As for ingame visuals, it is actually quite decent. The effects, text and GUI are nice. However, the background is a tad too plain.

    Audio
BeatRider Touch features some nice songs you can tap along to. In addition to that, they allow you to play with your own music, giving you a much more enjoyable time. The game also has some nice sound effects when you tap on the keys, making you feel like you are actually playing with the band.

    Replay Value
With the ability to play with your own songs, I don't blame you If you don't get bored of this game. The variation in keys gives you different way to play the game in each song and the global highscores keeps you playing to achieve the number one spot. However, once you've played the game for quite some time, you'll lose your interest in it eventually.

Excellent presentation. One of the best set out reviews I have seen and I love all the personal touches you have made. Well written too. There's a lot of exemplary work here that other potential reviewers can take not from.

    Top work fellah!
