Does it matter when you charge your battery. Because i remember when i would just randomly charge my ipod video it would weaken the battery and battery life was like and hour. Is this the same with the ipod touch?

I am just assuming, but the battery is going to have maximum capabilities for about 300 charge cycles, and will deteriorate from there

So if you are charging it on a constant basis (daily) after a year or so you'll notice a loss in battery life...

However I may be wrong on this

Every battery has limits, it just depends on the quality that was put in. And only time will tell since Apple will not say much on this.

you should charge your battery everytime your not using it because its a lithium battery and avoid completely running the battery out.
