Battery

    Hey ever since I jailbroke my 8gb ipod my battery life is shot. Any ideas on what I could do to change this or what i could've done?It last ten hours AT MOST and half of that time is in sleep mode.

    well when your using installer and games(especialy emulators) that runs dows your battery life quite a bit more than the standard ipod apps.

    thats probably it because i play chess alot on my NES emulator.

    Make sure that when you close an app, you hold down on the menu button until it quits (completely closes it down). Otherwise the app might still be running in the background and using battery.

    Also, have SSH and wi-fi turned off when you're not using them. With them on, it is constantly looking for connections so it drains battery.

    You could turn the screen light down in settings.
