    Hey,

So on average I got about 10-12 hours of battery on my iPod Touch before I jail-broke. Now I only get about 5 hours, tops. What's up with this? How do I fix it?

I turned off WiFi. Got any other ideas? Any apps that can help with this?

Oh and VolumeBoost isn't working too great.

Yeah, don't leave your brightness high. Lower it to around 10-20% to save battery.

And don't install things like Categories, since they drain your battery pretty fast.

Don't jailbreak. I un-did it, and now my battery lasts a lot longer. Same amount of use but i havent seen it drift below 40%

Well I already did jail-break. But I know there are people have decent battery life. And no I don't have categories and the brightness is all the way down!

I don't know what's going on. But if this is going to shorten the actual battery life, like charge cycles and such I will un-jail-break it gladly at any minute.

jailbreaking doesn't do that, its the sh*t you get on it, from cydia after, and also turn off ssh, surprsingly, my battery lasts longer now after jailbreak

    I notice no difference.
It's probly lasting less because you have just JB and you are messing about with it more than before when it was all boring and stuff..
