Hi guys, I got my 3rd iPod touch(3rd chance) recently, and yeah, when charging it for the first time, my father's computer went bugging and closed

Battery was fully charged, but, is their chances that it made it go prout? is the battery over? And DOES THE SELF CHARGING(play a game, its 80%, close ipod, open it, it becomes 90%) MEANS IT TOO?! Please answer(lets hope not, if not my father will kill me for a third return-___-) Answer by iPod touch expert only please

You battery isn't self charging, it depends on how much stress you put on the battery.

I had this on my old 30 gig video, and my current iPod touch, so I would be inclined to say it is just a quirk of the battery meter.

Its because the iPod assumes your going to keep doing what you are currently doing.
Example: Play some games on Eliminate. Battery loses 1 tick. Leave iPod on sleep mode. Turn it back on. Battery is back to nearly full.

Yes, it is just a quirk of the battery meter.

kind of weird, bcause my latestS iPodS touch were not doing that, not until I plugged my 2nd ipod touch on mp4 charger, and also, i played gameplay 30 minutes + 10 on apple store, is that normal if battery is now on 85%
