battery question....

    if the music is playing when my ipods in my pocket then does it use any battery? even if there are no headphones plugged in.

    Yes, anything that is being used will take some battery. If not then Apple made a great discovery, that can possibly save the world. Doubt it.

    seriously! dang. i thought that if there is no head phones then less power will be used up.

    Nope. At least the 2G lasts 36 hours (OMG really that long?!?) playing music while locked. Won't save battery. Sorry.
