hi..iv'e read that once a month or so its good for the battery to empty it completely...
does that mean all the way to the red zone or all the way down to "0%"?
cause people in here said that its not healthy for the battery to get to the red zone....
if someone could clear that for me...much oblige..

p.s. battery is a great song

Well ... I always run my battery down to 0% and charge it up to 100%, I never charge it up to 100% run battery to 69% Then charge it back to 100%

well i did a little diggin in to the wiki and finnaly got a clear answer
    wiki quote:
"Guidelines for prolonging Li-ion battery life:
*Unlike Ni-Cd batteries, lithium-ion batteries should be charged early and often.
Lithium-ion batteries should not be frequently fully discharged and recharged ("deep-cycled") like Ni-Cd batteries, but this is necessary after about every 30th recharge to recalibrate any external electronic "fuel gauge" (e. g. State Of Charge meter). This prevents the fuel gauge from showing an incorrect battery charge.[23]
*Li-ion batteries should never be depleted to below their minimum voltage, 2.4 V to 3.0 V per cell. "

it says that its not good to fully discharge ur ipod on daily bases...i guess thats y it says "WARNING"
but every 30th charge u shoud fully cahrge and discharge for the sake of the battery meter(so it remains accurate)

    thats all folks///

here is the link if som1 wnats a deeper view:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium-ion_battery

    finally....admirer and not amateur
