Is there a way to enable to enable battery percentage on the iPod Touch 32GB 3rd gen? Obviously Without jailbreaking?

You can't edit the PLIST on your iPod unless you JB.

Can you please post a screen shot of this. I am very interested also in getting the % next to the battery icon on my 3G touch with iOS4 on it.....without jb'ing it.

This is odd. I had my iPod touch jailbroken before upgrading, and I had it to where it would should battery percentage. When I updated to iOS 4, everything from the jailbreak got deleted EXCEPT the battery percentage. It's still there.

because you probably used a previous backup after installing ios4, and it retains the battery %.

Yes, I updated from 3.1.3, not a clean restore.
