I have an iPod touch 3G running jailbroken iOS 4. Is there any way to display the battery percent next to the battery icon in the upper right corner, like iPhones? I tried doing this: http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=298761
but I'm guessing something's been upgraded since then.

No. If you've done that just go to Settings and activate it.

What I meant was when looking through the file's script, I couldn't find the "unified-ipod" strand.

Because you have to add it to the code when you have an iPod. Reading the Thread helps a lot.

Behind Line 6 - If you have no Line indication, just add it behind the "true/" Line after the Multitasking line.

Install SBSettings. Swipe the top bar(thats how you get into it), tap on "More". Scroll down to and tap "System Options". Turn on "Numeric Battery".
