for the people who tested the beta

Does 3.0 add significant battery life to the ipod?

Sorry if it was asked before, but was just wondering since I just I got my ipod today.

Does significantly increase it, but it makes it a bit better.

From what I've experienced on the GM version, the battery life has slightly increased. I've had the phone using my WiFi connection for about an hour, and the battery's still full.

That is to be expected, as there are so many debugging items in play in the beta firmwares.
