Hi all, I recently bought an Ipod touch 2g and jailbroked it. I think the battery goes down really fast, when playing a game for 10 minutes, the battery goes 5% down, however, I can play up to 3,5 hours with a full battery and 50% brightness. Is this normal? I read that some are able to get up to 5 hours.

    Thanks

dont trust the % battery, its not accurate at all.
try turning the brightness down a bit, where you can see it and dont need to strain. also, if youre not using bluetooth, SSH, or wifi, try turning those off.

I suggest you turn off wi-fi, ssh, and the brightness. Also, go into More, and click Mobile Substrate Addons, and disable them while your not using them, e.x WinterBoard, Veency, and stuff like that.

The gaming life depends on the game but without Wi-Fi it should be about 3-6 hours with brightness at auto-adjust. I experience these kind of times and i play different games on it, it really depends on the pressure you're making it go into since playing a graphic intense game drains mine...
