Today I noticed on my brand new touch that the battery life seemed kinda short. It was 85% full in the morning (before school) listened to about 2hours of music, played around with maps and etc and then there was about 20 % of battery life left, and no my touch isn't defective because I used it the day before. So whats up? Is it that the wifi is on that drains it or what is it?

Hm, I'm not having that problem. Maybe your Touch hates you?

For the next few days I'm gonna use the timer application every time I turn on my touch and see how long I use it for. Maybe my expectations are too high. If I try it you have to try it too

I guess that would work, I am not sure but I think the timer app may drain your battery a bit but I am not sure

Or I'll use my watch and pause whenever I'm not using so no complaints there. I wish my iPod battery would be as good as my watch, No charge for over a 3 years lol. That'd be crazy. I would jump on one of those types of those batteries. Maybe in the future, perhaps 10years. A self-replinishing battery without a source of energy.

on gizmodo there was an article about development of cell phones that just run on water, it said something like that could be available in like 2010(I think but I am not sure). would be sweet to have that technology on an iPod

WTF!!! LOL on water what do you do like throw it in your toilet. brb gonna go try that with ma touch, I'll tell you the results if my mom still lets me live, lol. Well I'd like to see that happen. Can you imagine a conversation "Damn it I need to go to the water fountain to fill my phone up with some water, be RIGHT back guys !!"
