Since i upgraded to 3.0 my battery is draining very fast. Before I could listen to audiobooks for hours without charging! After just 4 hours battery is nearly empty! Has anyone else noticed this?

I actually find the battery life a little better since upgrading. This may be because I haven't jailbroke yet, so it's hard to tell.

I agree too. I was using it and I had the numerical battery from the jailbreak and it hardly seemed to drain at all. I have a feeling installing things like SBSettings sucks every last drop of energy from the battery.

I use my touch all the time, and now the battery seems to be fading fast! I hope that Im not the only one who this happening to! If I put wifi on it drains visably after just a few minutes, its the same even after opening an app for only a minute or two!

I havent jailbroke it all, just a full legit software upgrade. I think I will maybe try to go back to 2.21 if possible.

It's not actually draining faster, it's just that the battery is more accurate now. Also, check your brightness. Mine was just at 75% without me noticing it. I guess I took SBS for granted.

How does SBSettings kill your battery life?
Or is it the download process that actually kills?
