Battery life o.o What to do

    Well I've been searching to see if i should jailbreak and what not but i hear that battery life decreases substantially o.o whats up with that and how fast?

    If you install Backgrounder, then obviously the battery will decrease. My suggestion to you when jailbreaking, download SBSettings on Cydia, and then download Processes. This will then give you the ability to remove running programs in the background (like mail, music, safari, etc).

    EDIT: I also heard themes can somehow decrease your battery life.

    ya i use processes and it works really well, battery lasts maybe 6 HRs ( screen on)

    I have just downloaded some SBSettings thing but I have no idea how to open it..
    Any help please?

    swipe your finger across the screen.
    if you have openSSH, it'll appear there as well

    Slide your finger across the top of the screen where it says the time.

    Sorry but I don't understand the "swipe your finger" thing..
    I swiped it but nothing happens.

    well i did this and the only thing running that i did not know of was the "mail" and turned it off i dont think that will really affect my battery saving
