I have an iPod touch 2g on 3.1.2 and I jailbroke it using redsnow 0.9.2. Lately I've been noticing that I have to charge my iPod more than used to. Even when I have ssh turned off my battery drains very quickly. Should I restore and rejailbreak? Could it be because I didn't restore before I jailbroke it?

It may be due to some memory intensive applications still running in the background after you hit the home button...do you have Insomnia installed? That will drain your battery. Another thing is the brightness and constantly having wifi running.

Jailbreaks aren't always stable. You are hacking a stable fırmware to create an unstable one. If you end up with a battery ğpropblem, which isn't uncommon, then try removing all of your installed jailbreak apps and if the problems persists it's often best to restore and re-jailbreak.
