Talk about the battery here. Also, vote in the poll.

The findings will be interesting. Thanks

Better on the 32GB 3G. I had upwards of 50 apps running and still better than 3.1.3 jailbroken.

Same device as you, and I have noticed worse performance on mine. Funny enough, I run 4 apps all the time. Safari, Mail, Twitter, and Engadget. So I'm at a bit of a loss.

Still, interesting seeing how others experiences differ. I wouldn't go back, though.

It is weird. It might be because of all the stuff I had before. I just noticed though that my battery life is getting progressively worse.

I run about 8 apps in the background. No battery degrading, at least when wifi is turned off.

I keep Phone and Mail running in the background (then again, I don't really have an option) and only use multitasking to switch between two or three apps I need at time of use, then close them all. Battery is much, much worse. Like, I need to plug it in at least once during the day to keep it from completely discharging. On 3.1.2 I'd only need to charge it every night and it rarely fully discharged before bed. Sad times.

iPhone 3G 16 GB black. I don't multitask frequently (dunno how you control it because you can't choose what to multitask), but my battery life is a bit worse than 3.1.3 and I have enabled virtual RAM.

My battery on my 32 GB iPod touch 3G is a little better than before. I can stay on wifi more and gaming is actually enjoyable because I can play more now.
