Whenever I fully charge my ipod touch, and putting it on idle...its still using the battery then just completly dies. Anyone know what might be the problem? You think I have to send it in to get the battery replaced?

Just restore and jailbreak it again. I went through this and that fixed the problem, sometimes the iPod uses too much battery because of some background processes, so just restore.

As above, but I would restore and run it a day unjailbroken and see how your battery performs - if you still have the same problem it would be a hardware issue so get it replaced. Make sure you have mail set to AutoCheck Manual as constant checking drains battery. If it runs OK on stock firmware jailbreak but install a few apps at a time to see if you can pinpoint the app causing the problem.

how long did it take for your battery to die? was it like 3 days or so? How long should an iTouch be able to be on idle?
