Battery is permanent empty after doing nothing

    Hi,

    every morning the battery of my Touch is empty.
    I don´t know why. Touch is off.

    Any ideas?

    Battery is most likely faulty.
    Take it back to retailer and get a new one.

    Was it off? Or just sleeping?

    Did you leave a website open that automatically refreshes - perhaps flattening the battery?

    yessir, youz got your self a case of batteryopolis. its uncurabe i'm afraid, but the iPod can be replaced!

    Yup, that is a shame. You got one of the perhaps very few that have that problem.

    Yeah, take it back to where you bought it (if you bought it online you can take it to the nearest apple store) and exchange it for a new one on the spot.

    One question I wanted to piggyback off this thread...
    If one gets their battery replaced at say an Apple Store, would the techs access the apps and call your warranty void if the iPod was jailbroken?

    I dunno, they'd probably turn it corroborate your claim that it had a bum battery. then they'd see all these apps that aren't supposed to be on the touch. Best bet is to restore it - it's not too hard to jailbreak it anyway.
