I just bought a used Ipod Touch yesterday, so I spent a lot of time downloading apps and games and my battery went down within an hour. Wifi was turned on and i know that causes battery life to go down, but im not sure if it makes it go down that quick.

Also, is it better to turn the ipod off completely or just leave it in sleep mode?

I think you may have kept multiple files for download and besides that wifi gets your battery down quick. But 1 hour is a lot quicker.Farmville app will definately drain your battery in 1 hour.

Yeah if you were downloading stuff that's pretty normal. Also I think its better to shut it off if your not planning on using it for 24 hours.

Edit: It's not bad to leave it in sleep just close all multitasking apps and turn off wifi.

How exactly do I close an app completely? Does the home button close it?

Also, on Rock Band, it says I have low memory. I don't get how thats possible, I have 18gb free .

Memory means RAM, to close an app completely, double tap your home button, then hold the application you want to close till it starts jiggling, and tap the red icon on the top corner, then it is closed.
