I have my iPod touch 2g jailbreaked the second day it came out and it has been great and all but my battery is dying extremely fast. I used to be able to listen to my music for two straight days without an issue and now I can't be on facebook app without my iPod going to half batery in thirty mins. Any suggestions?

If you can, turn down the brightness and shut off Wi-Fi/SSH when you're not using it. If you're using SBSettings, you can download an addon for it called Services that you can use to kill apps running in the background. Also, some things like animated backgrounds probably decrease battery life.

    Search for "Processes" in Cydia.

What does SSH do to drain your battery life? Anyway I turned it off.

SSH KILLS the battery, when you dont use it turn it off.

technically, SSH does absolutely nothing for the battery, for or against, unless its being utilized.
