actually i'm not sure if it's because of the battery or not but basically when i click on the apps i installed they load for a split second and then go away. i tried to reinstall them but still doesn't work (the stuff that came with the phone works fine).

would resyncing it work? if so how do i do that, i'm new to this or what else can i do?

you could try going to the applications page in the ipod touch screen in itunes. from there, uncheck the box that says sync applications. allow it to sync. it will delete all of your apps. then once it is DONE syncing, recheck the box and sync again. after it is done syncing, reboot your ipod. to reboot, hold the power button on the top down for a few seconds until you see the slide to power off thing and slide that. once it is completely off, hold the button again to turn it on. post again to let me know if this worked.

Try restarting (Hold power for 5 seconds and slide to power off, power on)
