I tried using my iPod video wall charger for the Touch and it didn't work. You need to make sure your charging your Touch with the new wall chargers.

You can hear it connect, and also the battery icon changes from a plug-in to an electric volt when it is plugged in and charging.

what voltage needs to be sent into the ipod touch, i had a charger for 10 dollars for a palm and it always worked for my other ipods, but now i do not have a charger for my touch. I need to figure out how to remedy this situation with either a new charger, or doing something differently. Also, I had a dock from maxwell and it does not work with ipod touch either. Please help me out

All devices charged via USB take 5 volts in at a maximum of 1 amp.
