I just set this up on my iPod touch and I am loving it. I thought I would share this method, (although it might be really obvious).

Anyways, typically, one would put their most used applications on their first home screen. This is usually the largest, and contains basics like Settings, Calendar, Yotube, etc. (depends on your preferences). I like to have a page like this, which I call a Default page, a Games page, and an Apps page (for Apps I don't use as often like utilities, Cydia, etc.).

The most common method of arranging pages like these goes like this:

    Default - Games - Apps

    or

    Default - Apps - Games.

But then I realized that this means that there was a much faster way. I wondered, what if I arranged my pages like this:

    Games - Default - Apps.

It sounds counter intuitive. Until you start using it. Now, when I wake my iPod on the default page, I never have to swipe twice. I simply swipe to the left for Games and to the right for Apps.

Even when I get enough games or apps for more than one page, it will still stay fast and easy.

    Games 2 - Games - Default - Apps - Apps 2

It's a great method for fast navigation. The only issue is that when you download new apps, they would appear on the games screen. This isn't a problem for me, because I always move the new app anyways.
