    Banner Changing App.

I saw an app a while ago, that allowed you to put text where the clock is, and now I can't find it

Can someone give me the name of the app or a link

    Thanks in advance

Probably read wrong. Apps cannot interfere with the operating system. Either that or you're talking about a Cydia app. If that's the case then you're in the wrong forum.

I had it on my iPod, and I deleted the app off my computer, on accident, and when I upgraded the firmware it was gone
it was technically for the iPhone, but it also worked on the iPod touch

not possible. The clock is part of the filesystem. Without a jailbreak there is no access to the filesystem. Therefore no way to change the clock.
