I have an iPod Touch 2nd Generation 3.1.2 Jailbroken and I'm thinking about upgrading to 4.0 and jailbreaking. My friend told me if you upgrade it will Lag, Freeze, and Kill your Battery like hell. Like even if you swipe the page it will lag and it will kill your battery much quicker. I was also looking at the redsn0w page and it said that 4.0 jailbreak isnt as useable as the 3.x up ones is this all true or not?

In my experience, yes its true, also you wont even be able to jailbreak iOS 4 on your device, yet.

Yes, he can. He has been able to since the first beta of iOS4.

But upgrade and get multitasking and backgrounds through redsn0w, and it it's laggy because of backgrounds and multitasking, just take them off and run iOS4 without them, but with Cydia and stuff.
