Well my main problem is that I was told by a friend that SSH should have been automatically installed when I ran installer etc. Hence, it was not. I have also gone to system > openSSHand & installed that. That also did not put the SSH icon on the home screen and I don't know what else to do to get it to work.

    Help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

It doesnt put an icon on the home screen, it just automatically opens up SSH. If you would like a program so that you can turn SSH on and off (to save battery and for security reasons) then i recommend Net Services. If you need anymore help with SSH or FTP then just PM me.......wow 3 abbreviations in 1 sentences.

PS any links (or pointers if you're not allowed to post links) to where these apps may be?..
