Bad news for the iPod touch 2G Jailbreak

    look like they said, only one of them owns a 2G ipod touch and that means that it is not a priority to them at ALL. they probably wont even work on this at all. and this is not bad news because most of us here have heard about this already and really don't care due to since the fact that Chronic is working on it

    it seems as if the ipod touch 2g is gonna be like the ipod nano 2g. the first original models were hackable but the 2g's arent :D you know linux for ipod nano 1g and stuff

    i couldn't believe it!! . he said its buggy and installer ist working , but if its really fake, and i dont think it is, then its the best 1 out there. he just uploaded another video few minuts ago. check his channel. what do u think?

    oh your right, how did you get your IPOD touch jailbroken? Oh yeah, from that same dev team. Why even mention that? Now your saying we shouldnt look forward to it?

    if you have been really keeping up on the dev team then you would know that they said they would focus on the 3G baseband unlock and once that was finished they would start working on a 2G touch jailbreak. its not that they arent ever going to work on the touch 2G its just that its not at the top of there to do list.

    Look, iphone team wasn't even thinking about starting it until the 3g is done. Which still has plenty of time to go. Then for them to hack the 2g ipod touch we're talking another 2-6 months. Chronic has been working from the beginning, and will hopefully have it done w/in the next 2-4 months.

    PS, if you read the chronic blog, there are some signs of things looking promising.
