    Hello all.
i have searched and not found the question or a sollution, but here is my question.
since my ipot it hacked, and full with ihone goodies and other software, that part is easy to rehack and get that software back.
still the thing that annoys me is the links on safari that are lost on every uppdate.

is there a way to back up one links automaticly instead of doing manualy and restore them after a update.
    thanks in advanced, rodrigo, sweden.

Login to your Touch via WinSCP (or whatever you use) and drill down to /private/var/root/Library/Safari/ where you will find the following files:

    Bookmarks.plist
    History.plist
    SuspendState.plist

The first two are obvious; SuspendState.plist is the last address you visited when you closed Safari. Backup whatever you want, and then, after the restore/update, put them back there.

Fortunately, sometimes things are that simple.
