    Hi!

I will install Windows 7 on my PC in the next few days, but I don't want iTunes to say "This iPod is synced with another iTunes library - format or don't sync?" when I connect my iPod to the new Windows.

Is there a way to backup the iTunes library and import it again so that iTunes doesn't create a new library and won't make problems with syncing my iPod? I don't want all my apps to be re-installed and stuff!

Just straight copy your entire iTunes folder and you should be good to go. Just put it back on the new Windows and install iTunes. Then, run it and everything should be normal.

Okay, seems to have worked. My applications are having some problems (iTunes is saying that my computer is not authorized and that the apps may be deleted and stuff), but at least the music is untouched, and the apps seems to stay on the iPod. No idea if installing new ones will work, but I'm sure I gonna be able to fix it.

    Thanks!

You can authorise your new windows installation in iTunes.

Go to the 'Store' tab at the top of iTunes, then click 'Authorise computer'
    Stick in your account information.

You can now sync apps to and from your new Windows 7 installation
