backup ipod

    i have a jailbroken ipod and i want to backup all my apps just in case 2.0 firmware is not good, etc

    so how to back it up?

    Device:
    iPhone 3GS (Black)
    Open PuTTY
    Find your IP Address of iPod
    Follow instructions, ssh.
    Type in the following Commands:

    user root
    pass alpine
    get /Applications C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop


    replace User with your username.

    Alternatively, you could open FileZilla, enter your IP Address, root, alpine, and Port 22, and drag and drop the applications folder to your desktop.

    If you can't do either of these, give up.

    copy your apps folder to your computer through ssh and then upgrade. if yu dont like it downgrade and put the apps back in
