    I have a 8GB MC model and I'm currently jailbroken on 3.1.3

    I believe I have my blobs for 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 for no reason, as I didn't know at first that 3G 8GB didn't need SHSH Blobs.
    But as apple added 4.0 soft shsh, does this mean I have to upgrade, save my SHSH and downgrade back?
    Or is it possible for me to back up my shsh even when 4.1 is released?

    I'm worried that I'll be left without my 4.0 blobs and that I'll have to facedesk myself when I miss out on something.'

    thanx in advance

    I would recommend upgrading to backup your blobs for 4.0 and/or 4.0.1

    So you're saying that once apple stops signing SHSH blobs for i.e. 4.0 there wont be any way to retrieve them?

    Also, Cydia asked me if I wanted it to store my blobs. I said yes and now cydia says this at the top;

    My device is on 3.1.3 and has NEVER been on 4.0.
    Am I all set with SHSH on 4.0 or what?

    He has 3.1.2 blobs which are better. And also you can't get blobs for unsigned firmware. And yes, you're all set with your 4.0 blobs.

    Thanks, headreaper. I keep getting replies that are irrelevant to what I need to know.
