Backing Up Ques.

    Ok.. so i have a ipod touch.. And i believe i might have to ruturn it for an exchange..

    How can i back up my Apps.. so when get the replacement..
    I can just sync my stuff back to it ??

    Just make sure that iTunes reflects all your Apps. If you purchased any apps, you can re-download them for free if you accidentally delete them

    Just make sure you activate your new iPod with your iTunes account and you can just download them again for free.

    So all i have to do is.. Just use the same account with the new ipod ??

    Well first of all, do you mean redownloading the apps or backing up? Because all the apps you ever downloaded are safely stored inside your computer. If you have vista, it should be located at C:\Users\Your Name\Music\Itunes. But if you want to back up lets say all the saved games/settings/etc on your ipod touch, then all you have to do is sync it or you can manually do it by right clicking on your ipod in itunes and hit backup.

    So backups save app data? Cause I wasn't sure whether it did or not.

    it does. it saves all the settings in the apps. for example: if you were playing a game that includes saved files, it will save with the backup.

    So after i do this and i get a NEW ipod..
    I can jus sync back the data to it ??

    Yep. That's pretty much what you have to do.
