    /private/var/stash/applications/

    /private/etc/apt

backing up everything in the applications and apt folder will back up your installed cydia apps correct?

Don't take my word for it, but I believe just the files in the apt directory will cut it. Idk.

    Bump.

Seriously, I don't see why bumping is any different from copy/past'ing the thread, deleting it, and reposting it as a new thread. And that's not against the rules.

I was wondering the same thing as the poster.
And I see some apps in the /private/var/stash/applications/
that are not shown on my springboard after jailbreaking.
how do i get them back, as they are already installed?

backing up that folder wont help. get aptbackup from cydia.

or a better solution is pkgbackup but it costs $. there are other means of getting it though

i heard bad things about aptbackup. I'd rather just do it manually.
