Hi, it's been a while since I was active in this forum. As a matter of fact, I'm still on the thethered version on my ipod touch 2g.

Now with the released Unthetered version of the jailbreak, I was thinking of jailbreaking the device again. Unfortunately, I have loads of data in my current iPod touch such as notes and calender events. So the question is, is there anyway that I could backup all my information on my current device, jailbreak it, and get everything back on the unthetered one?

The notes and calendar events are all synced to your backup on iTunes. Just right click your iPod in the left hand column, then click backup. Then go ahead and restore.

No, I'd recommend you full restore. Reason? Here.

You don't get a slow wake up from a full restore.
