    How does Backgrounder work on a jailbroken iPhone 3GS on iOS 4?

    I would try it out, but I can no longer restore back to 4.0 and do not want to risk screwing something up.

    My brother runs it on his 32GB third gen touch rather nicely.

    Ahh, crap, forgot to mention I'm on iOS 4.

    This is why I don't make threads. I forget something and it makes me feel stupid.

    When you try to install Backgrounder on iOS 4, it says it is not compatible and will not install (yes we tried changing the SystemVersion.plist) but I thought it would be cool if it showed up in Apples multitasking bar when you background an app with Backgrounder even if it is not added by the dev.

    @AMurphy

    I'm sure that kind of integration is what we will eventually get on iOS 4.0

    Ideally, multitasking enabled apps will run using Apple's method, and non multitasking enabled apps can use the backgrounder method.
