If you're like me and use YouTube as a source for free music and want to play your audio in the background, it's fairly simple. All you need is Backgrounder and the double-tap home button for iPod controls enabled. 1. Open YouTube.app. 2. Activate Backgrounder (hold home button for a few seconds) 3. If it closed, re-open YouTube.app and find your video. 4. Right after you tap the video to open it, click the home button. The video will pause, but YouTube will still be on in the background. 5. Double-tap the home button to bring up the iPod controls. Tap the play arrow, and the audio of your YouTube video will begin to play. I'm not sure if it works with playlists or anything. Also, once the video is done, if you bring up the iPod controls again and you press play, it'll just resume to whatever last song you had playing on the default media player. Tested on iPod touch 2G running 3.0 firmware. Not sure if it works on other devices or older firmware.
