I noticed this a while ago and was curious if anyone else is having this. With all the new themes on the ipod, I'm getting this glitch while playing music. Heres the pics of it in descending order.

The first pic is the normal music section look. Nice and simple.

The second pic is me turning it to the side for cover flow. OOhhh....Pretty!

Ah oh? Whats this? In this pic, the dock for the buttons is now the same as my wallpaper??

And whats this one? When I go to rate the song, it is ALSO the same as the background? Weird.

Is anyone else having this and its normal, or is something needed to be done?

    this happens to me too.
i think it is normal when you have a wallpaper set.
    if the artwork is small.
you could also notice the wallpaper behind it

happened to me as well..it's visible because by default, the background is black so it would look like everything were black..

    I should specify:
I have the same issue as you at the top while i'm looking through album songs (behind the Star rating i can see my wallpaper)

I do not have the issue with my wallpaper visible behind the playback controls though.

    Solution:
SSH into your ipod.. in your applications folder you'll find MobileMusicPlayer.app. Overwrite the file NowPlayingAboveTableGradient.png with the one i've attached and your background wont be visible any longer under the star rating.

So that's half your issue solved, at least.

OK, what do you mean by "Overwrite the file NowPlayingAboveTableGradient.png with the one i've attached"? am I supposed to change "MobileMusicPlayer.app" name for that???

    Thanks man,

ok, inside the "MobileMusicPlayer.app" folder you will find a file called "NowPlayingAboveTableGradient.png" and that is the file that must be replaced with the file i gave you. Do not under any circumstances change the name of MobileMusicPlayer.app, k?

By default the background is black, like that of a non-jailbroken ipod.
