Okay several new members are being flammed and also ignoring when people tell them to trust the new SHAtter jailbreak. All us people who have done research or have been in the scene for a while already know, but they may not.

There are links to the wiki for those who want to read.

They have been around for a long time and both are a great help to the community. Chronic Dev Team (and members) have made tools to find exploits and have found exploits. The tools are released via source code at Github. Pod2G has found the latest exploit you know as SHAtter and has given it to both Dev Teams (iPhone-Dev and Chronic Dev). He is also the founder of the 24kpwn exploit and my personal favorite Usb_control_msg(0xA1,_1)_Exploit

So before you think it is a failbreak, do some research at the iPhone Wiki.
If you want me to add more just tell me.

You have members who have released, or played a major role in releasing, a jailbreak or developing an exploit saying that this is legit on Twitter.

I don't understand the non-trust, except that there have been a plethora of failbr3aks recently. That's what those do; they make everyone suspicious of anything.

Well in every single thread talking about "SHAtter" there is some new members always doubting it and thinking it is a failbreak. Most of us have enough background information to know it isn't.
