I have a stupid problem with my iPhone.

I installed and started using categories and it ended up giving me no network coverage and the phone keeps restarting for nothing. Note: this could be yellow snow which I also installed today.

I have come to the conclusion that I need to restore but I dont wanna have to install all my cidia/installer apps all over again.

    What do I do?
Is there an alternative to restoring if any of you have had the same problem?

You could try aptbackup. Never worked for me or

Before you update, ssh into your phone and run the command

    dpkg -l | awk '{print $2}' > installed_packages.txt

And copy the file to your hard drive

open it and delete the line name and everything above it, so something along these lines

    Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed
    Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems
    Name

Go into Cydia, copy down all the sources you have.
Update/restore and Jailbreak your phone. When done, go into cydia and install OpenSSH and add any sources that aren't there

SSH back into your iphone and copy the file back to root

    run

    apt-get install `cat installed_packages.txt`

After it does its thing hit yes

rebooted or respring and your done all apps/themes everything from cydia is back!

Oh make sure you unhide and/or remove everything from any categories folders.
