Alright I know this will probably never happen but its a cool idea to fantasize about. Imagine being able to develope applications right on your iPhone! this would be really convienent for me and for the people who don't have macs. Now I know that this app would be around a gig but I would be willing to make room on my iPhone for it lol. Don't flame... its just an idea

Even if you had a clue what you were doing or talking about it would take forever to write code on an iPod or iphone

This would be *extremely* hard to code, but it would actually be pretty neat to have like a cool interface builder type functionality where you could drag the actual UIKit elements directly to a sample modal view controller or something. Regardless, this would take sooo long to make.

Would be pretty awesome but highly/absolutely unlikely. It would have to be all 3rd party as I'm pretty sure apple likes the exclusiveness of the ide due to it bringing in more mac hardware sales.

Strange, I find coding on a mac extremely frustrating because of the absolutely stupid way they do certain things.
