iOS 4.1 aw man i accidently updated to 4.1 and now i have no jailbreak!! :(

    If you have your SHSH blobs backed up, you can downgrade. Otherwise, I'd say a few weeks until the jailbreak is out. I could be very wrong, maybe tomorrow, who knows.

    i thought we didnt need shsh blobs for ipod touch 3g i was 4.0 trying to downgrade to 3.1.2 but itunes occurred an error...

    2G you don't. 3G you do, because it has the newer bootrom. You should always backup your blobs anyways.

    well since im on 4.1...i cant jailbreak with redsnow or anything like tthat...?? or i might just need a tutorial on how to downgrade 4.1

    There is no jailbreak for 4.1. There's plenty of guides on how to downgrade, search is a mighty good place to start.

    yea i had tried to downgrade my friends 4.1 3g and it wouldnt let me .."an unknown error occurred(3194)"..

    That's Apple's servers saying "Not an authorized restore because the firmware isn't signed by us."

    With Cydia's backups, you can then trick iTunes into thinking "Authorized restore because the firmware has been signed."

    Look up guides for that, it may work depending on if you asked Saurik to "Make my life easier."

    if you have your shsh blobs you can downgrade, use tinyumbrella to make sure
