I just upgraded to 4.0 on my Ipod Touch 2g MC, and noticed that my available memory dropped from usually being around 48-50 MB (on 3.1.3) to now 38-40 MB (currently on 4.0). Anyone else have this?

If you've got wallpapers/multitask enabled, that's probably the problem. You'll probably free up some space by removing launch daemons

On my iPhone 4 I have ~ 364-375 MB available. The iPod Touch 2 should have... at least 100~ish MB memory available according to addition / substraction.

Umm, no. At maximum, the iTouch 2G on 3.1.3 has 60 mb

:S Why would that be? My ipt3 on 3.1.3 has ~160-170 MB. I was under the impression that they were practically the same.

My 2G MC once had 70mb free WITHOUT VM mods on 3.1.2. I have a screenshot to prove this.

I used the circuitous' inbuilt 'Thrice' memory clear to achieve this.
