I've searched for quite a while now and all searches end with dead/broken links or software for older versions of iTunes. Is there a free program that will grab lyrics for all my iTunes 10 songs?

If you're on OS X there's a great utility called Get Lyrical that pulls the lyrics from lyrics.wikia.com and adds them to the songs.

I'll check out Get Lyrical on my netbook. The Windows program I found used the same database of lyrics, that wikia, but the program was removed due to some copyright violation. Hopefully the OS X program works...

Try Lyrics Fetcher. Search Google, first link from sourceforge.

Ah, thank you tiny man. I'll try it after work since I'm on lunch, but it looks like it just may do the trick.

Edit: All that program did was insert:

into all the songs w/o lyrics...

Googled and came up with this: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=3047289&group_id=255242&atid=1126909

Update: The solution I found was to edit the .exe.cfg file like in one of the sourceforge posts and remove the bad website and voila, worked fine. At first it inserted ?'s in odd spots but cleared out after a reboot.

So what do you edit exactly?

There's a file on the sourceforge website, otherwise you edit the file he just described.

Agreed! My music library has over 2500 songs, none of which had lyrics. Thanks to Get Lyrical now only about 200 songs are missing lyrics.

I actually created an iTunes Applescript that automatically plays you music, launches Get Lyrical, starts active tagging, and goes through the entire playlist one song after another. So I can go to the scripts menu in iTunes, choose it, and then walk away from my computer.
